TRACY AKNER, VMD, CVA
Dr. Tracy Akner graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Veterinary School in 2000 after receiving a bachelor’s degree in biology from Barnard College.
While practicing small animal medicine and surgery she became frustrated with many patients who suffered chronic diseases and did not achieve optimal health with conventional medicine.
She sought training in Traditional Chinese Medicine to help them. In 2002 she received certification from the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society and has had great success in treating many pets with acupuncture, nutritional and herbal therapy. Dr Tracy Akner treats dogs with acupuncture in New York City.
